Guatemala - Pescador.2

This is the second in a two-part series posting some of the many flowers while in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. These photos were all taken in the gardens at a really nice little hotel called - Pescador.  We were treated to a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay – the flowers added to a great experience.

Do enjoy some of the beauty of Guatemala.

Guatemala - Pescador.1

These photos were all taken in the gardens at a really nice little hotel in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala - Pescador.  The owner Jose Antonio, and his staff are very accommodating and polite. They even took some of us up to a mountain top - El Mirador – Rey Tepulto - to view Lake Atitlan. Great views.

As you can also see, the flowers at the hotel are very very nice.  So nice to see while at home we still have winter and snow!
Do enjoy some of the beauty of Guatemala.

A Garden is a Friend ---

Sunrise at Gardens at Waters East
October

With all the snow the last four day, I thought it nice to be reminded that better days are coming!!!  This has been the most snow ever recorded in one storm here in this area of the country. LOTS & LOTS
So, not wanting to lose sight of the wonderful gardens here, and to remind us all of the gardens we have at our homes and enjoy all over the world, I thought this would cheer us up and give us that wild expectation of Spring to come!

ENJOY

This is a photo taken in Guatemala this past week.
I have many photos of flowers I will be sharing in the days ahead,
that I took on my trip there.
I find the container - inspiring!!!

This and all the following photos from the Gardens at Waters East,
are meant to remind us that our gardens do bring us joy.

 Our gardens are a "friend".

A recent storm over the gardens here at the lake.

Things are looking up!!!

Want a "Quickie" ? Today 4.14.18

I just returned from Guatemala and am still unpacking! I was going to post some of the beautiful flowers that I photographed there – that will have to wait until the next posting.  Look what I woke up to this morning.
It is April 14, 2018 and this is my “welcome home” greeting!!!  It has been snowing since last night and is to continue all day today and then Sunday all the way until Monday noon. I have no idea what the gardens will look like after this long snow storm !  OMG!!!
Not a happy camper this morning – and I am sure the plants out there in the Gardens at Waters Eastare even more unhappy!!!

Dare I say Enjoy

Hard to tell - but the wind is really blowing.

Even the patio fountain head looks unhappy!
